A journey into the past in the lounge car

We offer you a unique experience: a ride up to Núria on our rack railway in the surroundings of our period lounge car, a car designed with luxury in mind, decorated with the finest materials. In its interior you will find eighteen comfortable directional seats that let you have a better view of the landscape.

This car is only used on special occasions and, among other well-known passengers it has carried are the leading lights responsible for drafting the Catalan statute for self-rule in 1932 and personalities from the world of politics, culture, sport, media and the church.

The entertaining ride, in which a detailed explanation is given of the principal features along the way, accompanied with cava and pastries, will turn the journey itself and the arrival at Núria, into a small celebration. See Núria at your own pace, experience its many activities, and then go on to eat at the Racó de la Vall restaurant, where you will enjoy first-class cuisine in elegant welcoming surroundings.

PROGRAMME:

10:30 a.m. Welcome and visit to the exhibition of rolling stock and facilities at Ribes-Vila.

11:38 a.m. Start of the ride to Vall de Núria, with the added enjoyment of commentary on the different features along the route together with cava and pastries.

2 p.m. Lunch at the Racó de la Vall restaurant. Open return using the rack railway.

FARES:

Adult (over 14 years): 54,10 €
Child (5 to 13 years): 30,50 €
